Lunchtime Buzz Killed by Drunk Driving Arrest
Falling asleep at the wheel isn't necessarily something that will get you in trouble. Not unless you've stopped your car in an intersection after nearly missing a lightpole and passing out completely inebriated with the car in gear and your foot on the brake. That was part of Micheal Tierney's week-end, according to La Crosse police. Cops say they had to break the window in Tierney's carwhile it was stuck in the intersection of 20th and Vine around lunch time on Friday. Then they pulled Tierney out of the car and laid him on the ground before he finally woke up. They say he blew a .32. So drunk the jail wouldn't take him until he got cleared by the hospital. It's Tierney's third OWI.
