Medical Examiner Says Rodgers Was Strangled To Death

Strangling was the most likely cause of death for Kristen Rodgers of La Crosse...

The medical examiner who conducted the autopsy on Rodgers explains his findings at the murder trial of Isaiah Golatt. Dr. Vincent Tranchida of Dane County says severe neck damage is strong evidence of strangulation.  Golatt is accused of killing Rodgers during a drug deal last March, and leaving her body in a lot. Tranchida says exposure to the cold had minimal effect on Rodgers, despite claims by Golatt's lawyers that hypothermia was a major cause of the woman's death.
