As the La Crosse area gears up for the 52nd annual Oktoberfest this weekend, the campus of UW-L is gearing up for changes for Fest. Chancellor Joe Gow, says this year students living in dorms won't be able to have overnight guests.

All residence halls will be locked from noon Friday to noon Sunday, leaving only students living in those halls to have access. There will also be additional staff on duty in the halls during that
weekend. He says this is not a punishment towards students for some off campus things that happened last year.
