Monroe County Serious About New Courthouse

Talks are starting to pick up again in Monroe County as county board members heard more details about a new courthouse and jail last week.
The proposal is a $28.1 million courthouse. Earlier this year, 58% of voters said they wanted to see the facility built in downtown Sparta..and Sheriff, Pete Quirin, said that board members are following those wishes so far.
