May's Murder Case Justifies $10 M Bond For Suspect Lepsch

Why has a Winona judge set 10-million dollars bond for the suspect in a La Crosse double murder?

Winona County Attorney Karin Sonneman requested the high bond for Jeffrey Lepsch, because a 10-million bond in Minnesota is equivalent to one million in Wisconsin. Sonneman says Minnesota accepts just 10 per cent of the bail for release in many cases...and she wanted to be sure Lepsch stays behind bars.  Lepsch will be back in court on Thursday.  It could take a month or two to get him transferred to Wisconsin, to face charges in the May's Photo murders of Paul and A.J. Petras.
