Absentee In Person Begins in Wisconsin

Although it's been touted as early voting that's starting today in Wisconsin, it's actually not.  La Crosse city clerk Teri Lehrke says early voting states actually count the ballots early.  In Wisconsin, absentee ballots cast in person at the clerk's office don't get put in machines until election day.  Even so, Lehrke doesn't expect to be sitting on her hands for the next two weeks

In person absentee voting ends the Friday before the November sixth election.
