Committee Tonight Considers Changes to Council

Some changes are still coming to the structure of the La Crosse city council.  But it's possible a plan to limit public hearings will be abandoned.  Council member Paul Medinger has pushed to allow open public hearings before the city council while still dumping a meeting with all of the members

In September, council members voted to create new barriers for making public comments on issues in front of the entire council.  After many complaints, they voted earlier this month to reconsider.
