Guilty Plea For Suspect In Murder-Related Jail Attack

An alleged attack on a jailhouse 'snitch' leads to a guilty plea in La Crosse County...

Houaka Yang will be sentenced in January for beating a friend of murder victim Sara Hougom. That friend, Lucas Brickl, testified that he was in jail when he heard fellow prisoner Pao Choua Vue brag about killing Hougom. Yang and a cousin of Pao Vue reportedly attacked Brickl in retaliation for his testimony, the night before Vue reached a plea agreement in the Hougom case. Yang could get about three years in prison for the beating.
