Take Me Drunk I'm Home Again
Even at age 70....seems like some people just don't learn. That's the age of
a Black River Falls man who is now facing his ninth drunken driving
offense.
Doug Flick was arrested late last week after he
was accused of speeding in the town of Brockway. Police say
he had an alcohol level of .15. That’s nearly double the legal limit
of .08 but almost eight times the .02 restriction he had because of his prior
operating while intoxicated convictions.
Flick initially told
police he had two drinks but later stated it was five. Flick is being
held on a $5,000 cash bond. Flick racked up his previous eight drunken driving
offenses over a span that dates back to 1991.
