UW-L Gets Grant For Online Math Classes

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has received a $50 thousand grant to help incoming students who need remedial math courses. Chancellor Joe Gow says like it or not....students need math.

The UW System says one in five incoming freshmen needs remedial math. And for under represented minority students, that figure is double. The $50 grand is a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
