Governor Says No To Health Exchanges
Govenor Scott Walker said this morning that Wisconsin won’t set up a virtual marketplace for connecting consumers with private health insurance plans, ceding control to the federal government as Republican governors in other states have also done. A surprise to one local health care official?
Michael Richards of Gunderson Lutheran says at this point and time we have no clue as to what the new federal health exchange will look like. It's supposed to be up and running for individuals to sign up in October of 2013 and a full scale operation to start in January of 2014.
