Golatt Sentenced To Life With No Parole

Even though he maintained his innocence throughout his murder trial, a La
Crosse man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing a La Crosse
woman.
45 year old Izelia Golatt, found guilty of killing 35 year
old Kristen Rodgers back in September, was sentenced to life in prison with no
parol this morning in La Crosse County Court. Walker's body was found in a
northside parking lot in March. Prosecutors says she went to find Golatt to buy
crack from him.
A medical examiner testified that Rodgers was strangled.
