Onalaska's community thanksgiving dinner is only 2 years old....but you couldn't tell that on Thanksgiving. Last year they served over 700 meals for the first time.....Thursday....over 750.

Volunteers served up traditional turkey dinners at the Onalaska Armory for 4 hours and the lines kept coming.

Tom Brewer, one of the organizers, said so many people wanted to volunteer, some of them had to be turned away. The event is made possible through donations and the work of volunteers.
