Lax Thanksgiving Dinner Still Needs $10,000 To Pay Expenses

They served 25-hundred dinners for Thanksgiving at the La Crosse Center yesterday...

Now, the organizers of the Community Thanksgiving Dinner continue looking for money to pay for the 25-thousand dollar event. Organization president Ruth McQuiston-Keil says the dinner does not get City Hall funding, but is financed completely through private donations.  Funding was about 10-thousand dollars under the goal just before this week's dinner. But Ruth says donations made after the dinner always bring fund-raising up to the goal.
