Loggers Continue To Work With City On Agreement

The La Crosse Loggers and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, earlier this year, announced an agreement in principle to provide for the long term financial stability of the UW-La Crosse baseball program and to raise funds needed for enhancement to the baseball facilities at city owned Copeland Park. One enhancement, new turf, has been put off now.

GM, Chris Goodell says UW-La Crosse could begin to play its home baseball schedule at Copeland Park, possibly as early as the 2013 season. Goodell also says work continues behind the scenes to try to nail down a long term agreement with the city for use of Copeland Park.
