Rotarians Head Back to Kids Coulee After a Decade

An army is converging on La Crosse's Myrick Park tomorrow. It's a work day for the downtown Rotary Club to give the Kids Coulee playground a bit of a facelift. Mostly they'll be doing staining and sealing. Some painting. A big day, says Rotarian Jim Lewis; but also just a start.   The organization is also planning to add to the park new facilities for those with disabilities.
It was ten years ago that the Rotary club led the installation of Kids Coulee during over the span of one week-end. Back then it took 37 hundred volunteers to get the job done.
