She was convicted of murder, and got life in prison...but Tammy Cole has always said that when she shot Vance Evans in Tomah two years ago, it was an accident.

Now, Cole is hoping for a new trial in the shooting death of Evans, her ex-boyfriend. Monroe County Judge Todd Ziegler is scheduled to hear arguments tomorrow on whether Cole should be tried again for murder and arson. Prosecutors said Cole cut a natural gas line in the Evans house and lit a candle, apparently hoping to blow up the house and cover up the shooting.
