You're going to be hard pressed to find a mayoral candidate in La Crosse who won't say he wants to keep a lid on property taxes.  Jon Olson isn't going to be the exception.  The former city council member says that's his top priority if elected mayor.  He says tax discipline is a necessity for taxpayers with an uncertain future ahead

Olson and four others so far have anounced bids for mayor to replace Matt Harter who is not running for a second term.
