District Likes Ag Changes

School lunch trays are a bit lighter this year after Congress approved calorie limits on school lunches that went into effect in August. But after a few short months, those trays could become a bit more heavier with new changes coming from the Ag Department.

Joni Ralph with the La Crosse School District says the U.S. Department of Agriculture has relaxed its weekly maximum limits on grains and meats served in school lunches. The changes were announced Monday and go into effect immediately.
