Incoming Senate Democratic Leader Chris Larson has announced that Senator

Jennifer Shilling has been appointed to serve on three standing committees. In addition to being named the ranking Senate Democrat on the budget-writing Joint Committee on Finance.

Shilling will also serve as a member of the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Public Works, and Telecommunications and as the ranking Democratic member of the Senate Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges.

These committees reflect many of the important issues facing western Wisconsin and will allow our region to have a strong voice in the development of important public policies.
