Complaint Filed and Council Still in Dark About Kisken
Growing frustration is what we're hearing from the
La Crosse city
council. Council members we've contacted say they can't
discuss the ongoing administrative leave of municipal prosecutor Pete
Kisken and community development administrator, Leanna Escott. But those
same council members have expressed frustration with the amount of money
that's been paid to the pair since they were escorted from city hall back in
May. No one on the council seems to know what's behind the leave or why it
continues without action. Mayor Matt Harter says he can't comment on
the case. Kisken has filed a complaint with the state's labor
department and his attorney, Micheal Fox tells us Kisken has never been informed
why he was put on administrative leave.
