Representative Jill Billings attended her second state of the state address last night and she says the tone was much quieter then last year when protesters were thrown out left and right. She said Governor Walker got right to the point with his address this time.

In reference to passing a mining bill similar to last year's, she says it would not create jobs in La Crosse but instead could lead to the loss of FEMA flood insurance for nearly 1,000 La Crosse County families.
