Walker Stops In La Crosse
Governor Scott Walker made La Crosse a stop on a statewide tour Thursday and he told reporters the state is a much better place then it was 2 year ago.
Two days after delivering his state of the state address, Walker said that modest economic growth coupled with frugal management means Wisconsin is poised to end the two year budget cycle in June with a net $283 million surplus. Something that was only a dream 2 years ago. Where that money goes will come out in his budget next month.
