December home sales dipped a bit, but 2012 was still a killer year for sales in La Crosse county and around Wisconsin in general.  New report today shows that home sales surged by just over 20 percent around the state for 2012 over the year before, while the median sales price inched up by just about one percent.  Much better in La Crosse county, where sales were up by 32 percent over 2011 with a median sales price that was about four percent higher for the year.  In surrounding counties, home sales figures were much less impressive.  Especially in Monroe county, where sales actually dropped by about 6 percent.
