Water Bill on the Way to Shelby Youth Baseball
Shelby Youth Baseball can expect to see a bill in
the mail from the city
of La Crosse. The city's public works board today
has voted to bill stormwater utility charges to Shelby Ball for the parking lot
that the program maintains next to its ball fields on the southside. The
organization doesn't pay the city to use the parking lot but the lot is almost
exclusively used during baseball activities. Shelby Youth Baseball
president Scott Engebretson tells us his group is unlikely to pay the stormwater
utility bills from the city.
