La Crosse Among Metro Areas With Job Growth

La Crosse may be near the bottom of the heap in the state for median household income, but it's right near the top for lowest unemployment rates.  New numbers from the state show that the city of La Crosse finished out 2012 in the top third for unemployment rates, at 5.6%.  Caledonia is tops in the state at 3.1%.  Racine continues to lag on the bottom at nearly 12 percent.  The La Crosse metro area is one of about a half dozen in the state to add jobs for 2012.  The other metro areas either lost jobs or had no growth for the year.
