Miller Says Taxes Not A Good Move
A Minnesota House committee that will eventually draft the state budget took a detailed look this week at Governor Dayton's $38 billion, two year spending proposal. Senator Jeremy Miller of Winona says the tax breaks and increases are raising eyebrows.
Dayton says all good ideas are welcome, whether they be from Democrats or Republicans. He adds there's broad support among citizens, education groups and the business community for increased investments in education.
