Cars will not get towed tonight in La Crosse.  City public works director Dale Hexom says, although alternate side parking rules are in effect tonight, he will not declare a snow disposal emergency until at least tomorrow morning sometime.  Part of that due, he says, to the timing of today's storm

If a snow emergency is declared, a tripling of alternate side parking fines goes into effect and cars parked on the wrong side of the street can get towed.
