Onalaska Says No To Meeting Prayers

No prayer to open city council meetings in Onalaska...

The council has voted 4-2 against beginning its meetings with a moment of prayer.  The vote came after nearly an hour of comments on both sides from area residents.  Alderman Jack Pogreba, who suggested the prayer idea, says he'd like to put it to a referendum in a city-wide ballot.
