Higher inspection fees won't be coming to the city of La Crosse anytime soon.  The city council will study a fee proposal for another three months before making a decision on the changes.  Council member Bob Seaquist says, in the end, the fees will have to go up, despite the resistance

Some of the inspection fees for plumbing, HVAC and electrical were to increase just a few dollars.  Some were scheduled to go up much more than that, with automatic annual increases afterwards.
