Mayor's Race the Big Draw on La Crosse Ballots

Not much on La Crosse county primary ballots today, except in the city of La Crosse.  Bangor has a school referendum and there's a single school board primary in the Melrose-Mindoro school district, otherwise there's just the primary for supreme court justice, the only statewide race on today's ballot, expected to draw about ten percent of registered voters statewide. In La Crosse, however, the race which will have a significantly larger turnout is the primary race for mayor.  Four years ago, turnout in the mayoral primary drew over twenty percent of voters in La Crosse.  Eleven candidates are on the ballot for that race today.
