Coulee Bank of La Crosse comes to the rescue of a small Twin Cities bank...
Over the weekend, Pinehurst Bank of St. Paul became a branch of Coulee Bank. Coulee chairman Dirk Gasterland says the new branch has good employees, but Pinehurst had some bad luck recently. Coulee Bank assumed all 60-million dollars of the deposits in Pinehurst Bank, and most of the assets as well. Gasterland says customers of both companies should NOT notice much change in doing bank business.
