Two Cycle Riders Crash, One Dies

One man is dead and another is hurt, after both of them crashed while riding motorcycles together near Trempealeau last night.
In the first collision, 55-year-old Steven Meier of Trempealeau lost control of his bike, went into a ditch, and smashed into a utility pole. Meier was killed after being thrown from the cycle. His riding companion, Max Keene of Trempealeau, took a spill after seeing Meier's accident. Keene was taken to a hospital after walking to a house to get help.
