Minnesota Republican Senator Jeremy Miller and DFL Senator Roger Reinert are going purple? Why not red and blue?

Miller says the intent of the purple caucus is not to focus on issues that divide Minnesotans, but rather focus on issues that unite Minnesotans. And he says there are some big issues coming up that need one color.....not two.
