Assembly Talks Mining Bill Today

Baraboo Democrat Fred Clark got the Wisconsin Assembly started on debate this morning on a contentious mining bill and he says his party will point out flaws in the mining package, and explain how it picks winners and losers by catering to a single company. And he also addressed the fact that some think Republicans will float the bill through, no matter what democrats say.

Republicans are expected to toss aside all of the Democrats’ amendments, just like the Senate did last month when it passed the same bill after nine hours of debate.
