Addis Still Hopes To Reopen Hollywood Theater This Summer

Piece by piece, La Crosse's old Hollywood Theater is being restored for use as a showplace.

Voting is underway on the '' website on designs for a new theater sign to hang above 5th Avenue. The theater still doesn't have any seats at this time, but owner Phil Addis says new ones are on the way to town.  Addis says the leaking roof of the Hollywood has been fixed, and many more interior repairs are needed before live performances or movies can be scheduled at the nearly 80-year-old theater.
