Foundation Putting up Green for Green

La Crosse's Pettibone Park won't be as green this year as last.  The city has cut down dozens of ash trees throughout the city and Pettibone looks especially barren.   The La Crosse Community Foundation has stepped in to help green the place up a bit with a re-forestation grant.  The foundation is giving over four thousand dollars towards an effort to plant new trees as replacements for the ash trees cut in advance of the coming emerald ash borer invasion.
