Council Points Towards Approval of Development

A college residential developer is balking at restrictions on occupancy for a major development near UW La Crosse.  Competing landlords have asked the La Crosse city council to limit the numbers of students who can live in a multi-million dollar building planned for 10th and State.  Pointe West's Jason Alberty says not only is that not fair.  But it wouldn't be possible to get a loan to build with that restriction.  No small loan, either

Many of the complaints about the 120 bedroom development center on the perceived lack of parking and the issues that could arise from that for the rest of the neighborhood around 10th and State.
