Could be off to the bank soon for a developer looking to build a huge college residence in the middle of La Crosse.  The city council tonight is expected tonight to give final approval to a 40 unit, Pointe West project on 10th and State.  Despite numerous complaints about the project from competing college landlords.  POinte West president Jason Alberty says, complaints aside, his project is a good one

Most complaints have centered on a lack of parking at the proposed building.  Alberty counters that he probably has the biggest parking lot in the college area outside of the UWL campus.
