Feds Say Wisconsin Job Creation Lagging Behind the Rest of the Nation

Although hiring jumped in most states in the nation early this year, Wisconsin is still one of the bottom feeders in job creation.  Latest numbers from the feds show the state second from the bottom in employment decreases, losing six thousand jobs in January.  Only Louisiana was worse, with an employment drop of 12 thousand.  Tops in job creation for January, according to the new fed report, were Michigan and Washington, each creating over 20 thousand jobs for the month.
