Retiring Council Member Recommends Pay Bump

A pay raise for La Crosse city council members could be on the way.  Chris Olson, getting ready to leave the council next month after one term, says the two hundred dollar per month stipend that council members currently get just isn't enough for the amount of work that they do

Olson has introduced a measure that would double council pay.  He recommends paying for that by trimming the size of the council.
