Biggest Campaign Topic in Mayor's Race is Neighborhoods

There's doubtless many voters who would love to hear much more about cutting taxes and fighting crime.  But, so far, the biggest topic of conversation in the run for mayor of La Crosse has been one about neighborhood revitalization

Mayoral candidate, Tim Kabat this week talked about his plans for so-called neighborhood partnership centers and service teams as wasy to transform the city's most distressed properties.  Doug Farmer has suggested utilizing money from a retiring TIF district as a way to rehab neighborhoods./
