Second Major Heroin Dealer Off To Prison

Sparta's Kelly Talsky brought huge amounts of heroin into the area in 2009 and Sparta Police became aware she had started what would become an almost 2 year investigation into heroin dealing. She then went to prison last year. Monroe County D.A. Dan Carey says after Talsky went to prison, 30 year old Christopher Heintz of Holmen then took over the heroin trade in the area.

After a jury found him guility earlier this year of dealing heroin, Heintz was sentenced to 8 years behind bars Wednesday. Cary says anyone else who would further contaminate the community by making illicit drugs available for sale, will be dealt with in the same manner.
