One Vote Down Several To Go

Two more votes could come this week for a tobacco free UW-L campus. UW-L

Wellness Coordinator Jason Bertrand, says they should know by Thursday what the final online student vote total was. Then it will go to the Academic and Classified Staff board to discuss the possibly vote this week as well.

In order for the entire campus to go tobacco free, 4 campus groups must vote in favor of it. If one of the groups doesn't approve the plan, UW-L Chancellor Joe Gow won't approve it.

If the tobacco free initiative is approved, it will go into effect July 1st.
