Summer Construction at Full Tilt in La Crosse Schools

By this point, parts of the La Crosse school district are a full-on construction zone. Doesn't take long to get that point in the summer, says district buildings and grounds chief, Joe Ledvina.  He says, as soon as kids leave for summer vacation, crews are standing by to start tearing things apart.   The district is still doing work paid for through a referendum from a couple of years ago. This summer, among many other projects, it's heating and air conditioning systems at Summit and Hintgen elementary and tennis courts at Logan high.
