Lost Evidence Leads To Probation For Home Invasion Suspect
A strange ending to the case of one suspect in a highly-publicized home invasion in La Crosse...
Areschial Page pleads 'no contest' to charges that he took part in an armed robbery last fall, allegedly carried out by a group called the 'Get Money Boys.' And Page is sentenced to probation...primarily because a key piece of police evidence, a recording of an informant, was erased by accident. Page's attorney, Christopher Dyer, tells WIZM News that Page was not a member of that gang, and was 'in the wrong place at the wrong time.' Page will be on electronic monitoring for 45 days.
