Fracking Gets Minnesota Support

Looks like frac sand mining is here to stay. At least in southeastern Minnesota. Winona Senator, Jeremy Miller knows all about it as he serves many communities that have mines or will have in the future. It was a huge topic in the legislative session just ended.

As part of approved legislation, Miller said the state will assemble a silica sand technical assistance team to provide local governments with help in regulating and monitoring sand mining and processing.
