Council Could Hand Minute Taking Duties to Staff

Taking meeting minutes apparently has just become a little too difficult for La Crosse city council members.  The council is considering having city staff take meeting minutes at committee meetings instead.  But that probably should mean an additional person in city hall, says mayor Tim Kabat

What is left to be determined is how much to budget for a so-called city council attendant.  One council member suggested it might be as low as a hundred dollars per month.
