Cole Headed For Monre County Murder Trial

An Illinois woman claims it was an accident...but the Monroe County D-A is charging her with murder.
Tammy Cole is one step closer to being tried for the April shooting death of Vance Evans at his house in Tomah. Cole was bound over for trial after a hearing today in Sparta. Her sister, Cindy Sturm, testified that Tammy told her about an accident, around the time Evans was killed. Evans was shot in the back of the head. He and Cole had known each other for years in northern Illinois...and police say evidence places Cole at the scene of the murder.
