Library Entrance to Get Design Input

A dead fountain, a creaky old statue.  Maybe time for a facelift for the front of the main library in La Crosse.  At least that's what some in the city are calling for.  Including suggestions that the area get turned into a more sit and down relax kind of plaza.  Which really would just add to the transient loitering problem, says city council member James Cherf who sits on the library board.  But he's willing to listen

Some of that planning is scheduled to go on tomorrow morning during a design meeting at the library.
